The PTS did not produce Christmas seals for the Philippines in 1959. Rather, they opted to purchase Christmas seals from a U.S. printer and resell those seals in the Philippines. At the time there were 6 different printers of this seal in the U.S. The sheets purchased for the Philippines were printed by Eureka and can be identified by a small “E” printed above the boys foot (only on a single stamp positioned 6 across and 6 down on the full sheet). |
